Dusan Vlahovic's contract with Juventus is set to expire on July 1 if a new agreement isn't reached, with two major obstacles currently impeding negotiations.
The striker, having recently recovered from a lengthy injury, is reportedly keen to prolong his tenure in Turin, even with interest from numerous other clubs.
Among the interested parties are AC Milan, which would see him rejoin coach Max Allegri, as well as Arsenal and several Spanish clubs.
Key Issues in Vlahovic's Juventus Negotiations
While initial discussions are reportedly progressing positively, significant hurdles persist, with another meeting scheduled for next week.
Juventus is aiming for a new deal that would see his annual salary reduced from the current €12 million (including add-ons) to approximately €6-7 million.
A primary sticking point appears to be the substantial commission sought by his agent, Darko Ristic, who could secure a considerably larger sum by facilitating a transfer to another club.
Juventus is optimistic that the involvement of Vlahovic's father, Milos, in the upcoming negotiations will help bridge the gap and lead to a mutually agreeable solution.
