Juventus Already Eyeing Permanent Boga Transfer for Less Than €5M

Juventus is reportedly impressed with Jeremie Boga's initial performances and is already contemplating making his loan move permanent for under €5 million, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The January acquisition has made a significant impact, with the former Sassuolo and Atalanta winger contributing two goals and an assist in just seven substitute appearances, much to the satisfaction of the Bianconeri.

Juventus Nears Permanent Deal for Boga at €4.8 Million

Boga, an Ivory Coast international, arrived at the Allianz Stadium on loan from OGC Nice on the winter transfer deadline day. The agreement includes an option for the Serie A club to sign him permanently for a modest €4.8 million.

According to Gazzetta, Boga's strong displays combined with the attractive financial terms of the deal have quickly swayed Juventus towards a permanent acquisition.

His potential permanent salary, estimated between €1.5 million and €2 million annually, also makes the deal financially viable for the club.

Prior to his move to Juventus, Boga had been out of competitive action since November 30.

His tenure at OGC Nice concluded controversially shortly after, when approximately 400 ultras physically assaulted him and the club’s sporting director, seemingly holding them accountable for a six-game losing streak.

Reflecting on that harrowing period in his first interview as a Juventus player in February, Boga stated, “It was a difficult time for my family and me. I’m not ready to elaborate on the specifics, but I spent two months at home solely with my fitness coach and my wife. It was a tough situation, but I’m relieved to have moved past it.”

He further emphasized his gratitude towards his new club, adding, “Juventus saved me. It’s truly been a blessing.”
