Liverpool Eyes Juventus Winger Francisco Conceicao Amidst Salah Succession Plans
Reports from France indicate that Liverpool is reportedly considering Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, whose departure is scheduled for the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
The Reds confirmed earlier this week an agreement with Salah, paving the way for his exit after a remarkable nine-season tenure. During his time, Salah clinched two Premier League titles, reached three Champions League finals, and secured winner's medals in the FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
With the Egyptian superstar's impending departure, speculation regarding his replacement has intensified. French reports suggest that Conceicao features prominently on Liverpool's potential target list.
Other high-profile players such as Michael Olise, Bradley Barcola, and Yan Diomande are also rumored to be on the Premier League champions' radar, with Conceicao joining this list of potential recruits.
Conceicao's current contract with Juventus runs until the summer of 2030. He initially arrived at the Bianconeri on a €7 million loan deal with bonuses for the 2024-25 season. Despite the absence of a formal buy option, Juventus successfully made his transfer permanent for €30.4 million in the summer of 2025.
This season, the Portugal international has contributed three goals and three assists in 22 Serie A appearances.
