Cremonese defender Giuseppe Pezzella has been handed a one-game ban along with a €10,000 fine. This penalty stems from his sending-off during the 2-1 loss to Lecce, where he was found to have vehemently criticized the referee’s performance on the field, using disrespectful language towards the match official.

Five other players will miss the upcoming Round 29 after accumulating sufficient yellow cards. These individuals were one booking away from suspension prior to Week 28 and received a yellow card over the weekend, triggering their one-game ban. The players suspended are:

Reasons Behind AC Milan's Fines After Derby Against Inter

AC Milan has been issued two separate fines. The first, amounting to €22,000, was imposed because the Rossoneri "unjustifiably" caused a two-minute delay during the second half of a match. The second fine, totaling €8,000, was levied due to their supporters' insulting chants directed at Inter players. Furthermore, a group of Rossoneri fans was also observed pointing a laser beam at an opposing player towards the end of the first half.

Inter director Dario Baccin also faced disciplinary action, receiving a €10,000 fine. This was for repeatedly and "disrespectfully and arrogantly" criticizing a refereeing decision after the match.
