Dan Ndoye Open to Inter or Napoli Move After Difficult Nottingham Forest Spell

Dan Ndoye, the former Bologna player, has indicated his willingness to depart Nottingham Forest and potentially make a return to Italy's Serie A, with Inter Milan or Napoli being discussed as possible destinations. "We'll see what happens at the end of the season," he commented regarding his future.

The Swiss international initially made a significant impact during his time with Bologna from 2023 to 2025, a performance that ultimately led to a lucrative €42 million (plus bonuses) transfer to Nottingham Forest.

However, his tenure in England hasn't unfolded as anticipated. Despite making 34 competitive appearances for the club this season, contributing two goals and two assists, Ndoye has found his starting opportunities limited, with his last Premier League start dating back to December.

Ndoye Seeks Increased Playing Time

"I'm not getting many minutes at club level, but I've proven with Switzerland that I possess quality," Ndoye stated to RTS during an international break. He emphasized, "When I get the opportunity to play, I always give my all."

Further remarks were made to Sport Mediaset after he scored for Switzerland in a friendly match against Germany. When questioned about the rumored interest from Inter and Napoli, he responded, "Right now, I am focused solely on Switzerland and Nottingham Forest. We'll have to see what transpires at the end of the season, as the future is uncertain."

He added, "I made the choice to move to England, and I'm quite happy there, but we will review the situation once the season concludes."

Looking ahead, if Italy successfully navigates their play-off match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, they are set to face Switzerland in the World Cup group stage. Ndoye shared his thoughts on this potential encounter:

"I have friends within the Italian squad, such as Calafiori and Cambiaghi. They are a formidable team; I watched their match against Northern Ireland. I have no preference between Italy and Bosnia, but it's always positive to see Italy participating in the World Cup," Ndoye concluded.
